We have a bold vision – to build a network of volunteers and support within the community to care for vulnerable young people and their families that need our assistance.
We all know the saying, ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ – this wonderfully captures how an entire community of people must interact with children for them to experience and grow in a safe environment. It summarizes how our society is interconnected, and how together we can support children in the most difficult of times.
We involve local churches, homeless centers, pantries, and other neighborhood resources to help the children, along with their families. Our volunteers work tirelessly to raise funds to support families when they need it the most – and we have bold ambitions to grow and develop into a large robust organization, ensuring no child is left behind.
Given the demands they face and the futures they’re responsible for, all parents of ill or sick children can benefit from help. The first step for parents in getting the support they need is to ask for it. However, many families are at a loss as to where to look for support. When parents receive the support they need, they’re likely to be more relaxed and healthier, be happier and more positive around their children, and show their kids the value of both helping and being helped.
